One quick note of order:

While this project is initiated by me, Jason Scott of the Internet Archive - I'd like to drop to an advisory role as quickly as possible. I think an organization like FIA would be many times more effective by being an independently-run, board-overseen, focused group of non-employees working to help the Archive from the point of view of users, instead of the limitations and outlook of employees. A lot of what I'll be doing is trying to assemble a group of people to take over the necessary roles and then just provide suggestions or bridging as time goes on. How long that takes, I'm not quite sure - but that's my goal.
